My entry is up! Love quotations.
What a great mini-challenge! And I love that quote from East of Eden: I really need to reread that soon. :) I chose a quote from Persuasion; you can read it here.
Yay, I participated! http://wordlily.wordpress.com/2008/06/28/update-the-second-end-of-hour-3/

Also, I am terrified of Athena winning because she will see how lacking my knitting is! She's my knitting guru.

Oh, I like this challenge! You can find my entry here.
Did I somehow miscalculate hours? I thought the read-a-thon was starting at 9 a.m. Pacific time (which is 10 a.m. for me in Mountain time). That would make 11 a.m. PST the end of hour 2, not hour 5. Help! I'm confused.
Here's me!

Dewey: Athena's that's good? I have to see what these dishcloths look like. Maybe I should learn to knit.

My favorite quote from the book I just read (True Light by Terri Blackstock) is "To whom much has been given, much is required.". It makes me realize how much God expects of me.
here's mine. thanks!
Thanks, Trish!

Jill, you are the best!
It seems as though I've won this mini-challenge. Dewey said to let you know, so you could send the book. I couldn't find an e-mail address, so if you can mail me at Samanthakathy at gmail dot com, I can send you my address.
Loved this challenge by the way! Very interesting to read people's quotes.
I'm unsure if this one is still open because it says 11 pacific which is hour 3 in my book--which was a long time ago. Am I totally confused??
Anyway, regardless I did a post:
