Here's one more challenge I'm signing up for! I really don't read horror, but why not have nightmares? I'm tired of sunny California. I'm ready for winter. Mind you I don't want the flooding that's going on in other states, but can't I have a little cold weather? I'm going to go for Peril the First and also the Sunday Short Story Peril. Here's my list of possible suspects:
Bradbury Stories: 100 of his most celebrated tales -Ray Bradbury
Strange Happenings- Avi
Dracula - Bram Stoker
His Dark Materials Trilogy -Philip Pullman
Dreamcatcher - Stephen King
The Stand - Stephen King
Mayfair Witches Series- Anne Rice

Great choices! I enjoyed Strange Happenings when I read it during Carl's Once Upon a Time Challenge. Dracula is an old favourite, as are The Stand and His Dark Materials Trilogy. Hope you enjoy!
You'll find my list here: http://blog.quixoticmiss.com/ not on the link in my blogger profile.
Great choices!! The Stand is one of my ALL-Time Favorite books!! And I think I actually like the Mayfair books better than the vampire chronicles from Anne Rice!
I'm super excited by this challenge. You can stop by my blog anytime and check out my rather long list!
Wow, what a great list! I love Rice's Mayfair Witches Series....I'm reading The Witching Hour for the third time for this challenge. I've been wanting to read The Stand and His Dark Materials for awhile now, but my list is a bit full. Maybe I should leave those for another challenge. Looking forward to following your blog through the challenge!
I absolutely love both His Dark Materials and the Mayfair Witches series. Happy reading!
Great list! I look forward to seeing your thoughts on them.
Sounds like a great list. His Dark Materials Trilogy is one of my favourite childrens series'.
Great list! I'd like to take each one of your choices and add it to my own list! I'm looking forward to your reviews.
Sounds like a wonderful list! I've got a few of those sitting here waiting to be read myself, but the only one I've read before is The Stand. (And it's probably my all-time favorite book!) Have fun!
Great choices! I plan to re-read the Stand sometime not too far away.
You have some great choices there. I love Anne Rice and Philip Pullman. Stephen King is ok and I just read Dracula and really enjoyed it.
Sounds like a good list! I'm read the first of the Mayfair Witches series, I'd like to read the others soon!
I loved The Stand! I think it needs rereading (on my part at least.) as I've read it a decade or so ago!
